92552 and modifier 26

I work in a Occupational Medicine clinic. Most of the testing is done by our nursing/technician staff. If the physician later interprets the report, can I then add modifier 26? The 2012 CPT® says "The audiometric tests listed below require the use of calibrated electronic equipment, recording of results and a reprt with interpretation." I am thinking that the modifier would not be used, unless the report were to be read by a physician not on our staff, right?
