Otolaryngology coding

Hello

I think I would start learning the general principles of coding, prior to specialization, unless you're fortunate enough to be working in an office that does that specialty. In that case, it's easier to learn that coding because you have the clinical and non-clinical staff to help.

If you're not able to work in an ENT office, then learn general coding first, and then take a specialty course. Karen Zupko and the Otolaryngology Academy offer courses throughout the year. I think a basis in coding would help before taking them.
