No, I hope we are deviating from the topic. I have claims till december 2010 and dint get a denial for timely filing. Let me make it clear. All the claims are denying for invalid POS when billed with POS 22. Please reply the correct POS for CPT®.

If you age giving them in the office the place of service is 11.

So the bottom line is

give us all the available information in the first post and we can help you. If we saw POS 22, we would know the answer. But of course we should have asked for the details...

CPT® 90658 denied for invalid place of service

Our provider group has also recieved denials from Medicare when we bill CPT® 90658 under place of service 22 (Oupt Hospital). I am trying to research and figure out why this is as well. We can simply change the POS to office because our provider see patients at the Hosptial and rent space and per our agreement w/ the Hosptial we have to bill Outpt Hospital.
