If your provider is psychatrist then you need to use psychatrist codes ie 90801, 90802 or 90807. You need to choose according to the level of visit and make sure if patient has mental health beneifts of not? If your provider is not a psychatrist then you guys need to bill diagnosis code relavent to speciality.

we are a family practice and the patient is just coming in for a 99213 or 99203 and is beeing diagnosed with this condition but they are all denied even if the patient has behavioral services benefits i dont know what else to do

All you can do is code what was done and why (medical necessity). Beyond that there has to be conversation with payer and evaluation of the patient's benefits and payer policy.
