pilonidal cyst closure

I have a dr that would like to bill CPT® 14000 with 11772. There are not any CCI edits on these two codes, however, the Coding Companion states that closure of the defect is included in this code and should not be reported separately. I am unsure of which way is correct to bill for this. Can anyone help?
