Admission note done at office visit

Our patient was seen in the office for a 1 month follow up at which time the Provider dictated an admission note for her to be transfused 2 days after the office visit in an ambulatory setting. Is the admission note billable with the E&M for the office visit, the Provider feels it is but I'm not certain.

Any recommendations?

Follow up from a procedure? In a global period? Was the re-admission a complication of the original procedure or a new problem unrelated to the initial problem?
