88305-tc

We started having problems with our billing software. It now prints it only as 88035. It has dropped out the -TC. Tech support has fixed it and now prints out as 88305 TC. My question before we start sending out claims to medicare will they reject it if it does not have the - between the 88305 and the TC. Also this office is only adding on the 88305-TC to the medicare billings only. When I asked why I was told that insurance companies will not pay for it only medicare will. Has anyone heard of this?

I only bill 88305 TC and everyone pays it.
