Testicular Torsion

The case study I am coding has a procedure for manual distorsion. I can only find a code for the surgical procedure. I decided to assign an unlisted procedure code, 55899. Is this correct?

Yes, but wondering what setting performed in and the extent of it?
Might be bundled/inclusive of the office visit.

The case study does not specifically state the setting, but we are studying cases from ambulatory records so it is not an inpatient record. I was wondering if this type of procedure would be included in the E/M code.

Because you state ambulatory I would say you are good to go.
