Embassy Billing

Does anyone know anything about billing an embassy for services? We have a patient that was authorized for payment by their embassy but we have never come across this type of situation before.

Yeeeears ago in a previous incarnation, I used to bill for services for Saudi students' wives. Either the patient or husband should have an ID card which gives you the pertinent address, phone #, and some form of ID #. Keep in mind that depending on custom, a wife may have a different name. Perhaps you can make contact with the embassy, verify authorization and get a fax # for your claim(s).
