Billing for Proctoring

Can you bill for proctoring a new surgeon? Some of the Op reports list the proctoring physician as an assist, some do not mention proctoring physician at all. How should they be documented properly?

There is no reimbursement for teaching or proctoring a new surgeon.

If an assist is allowed and is documented as performed, bill the assist
