Surgeon called into case

My general surgeon was called down because a patient was having a tah-bso and the ob/gyn felt the appendix looked inflamed. The patient was already open so my surgeon scrubbed in and removed the appendix and the ob/gyn continued on and finished her portion and closed the patient. Should I bill CPT® 44970 with -62 modifier?
