Developmental Screening 96110 using ASQ form

What would be an appropriate age for a developmental screening to be done? I have a physician that uses the ASQ for this and starts with newborns as early as 6 - 8 days old. Thanks!

The developmental screening is used beginning at birth and usually at every check-up thereafter. During the first year this is usually monthly, then every 6 months, then when the child is older drops to once a year.
