90806 and 90801
Can these be billed together on the same day? The psyciatrist billed 90801 ahd the therapist billed for 90806.

Medicare CCI edits bundle 90801 into 90806 when billed same day. This means only 90806 can be billed. There is a modifier indicator of 0, which means no modifier can be placed to bypass the edit. And, what "therapist"?

90801 is the initial diagnostic interview. It is unusual for therapy to be performed on the same day as the initial diagnostic service: the plan hasn't been formulated yet.
What was the specialty of each of the clinicians?
