Nerve block injections.

My doctors here do a lot of injections in our office. Most of the time they do nerve blocks without guidance of fleuroscopy. We are how ever looking into possibly doing them under ultra sound guidance. Is this common. And if so how would billing be done.

Check the documentation / permanent recorded images requirements in the CPT® Diagnostic Ultrasound section guidelines. Look at code 76942. Use modifier -26 if physician does not own equipment.
