Well Woman Exam

If a patient is having a well woman exam, do you use the CPT® code 99396 (age approiate CPT® code of course)? We are trying to understand why we do not get paid more for a WWE vs a general physical. Thank you!!!

I bill for an OB/GYN and when she does a well woman (pap smear and breast exam) I will bill with 99394-99397(Estab) or 99384-99386 (new). I would suggest looking into you contract. Good luck!
