Dehisence of Wound

Hello, Help would be very much appreciated. Would this be CPT® 64999 for a secondary closure of a dehiscence of a surgical wound due to the exchange of the neuro wrap?

Thanks,
Kathy

DX: Dehiscence of the left carpal tunnel wound. History of scarring of median nerve, left wrist, after carpal tunnel release.

PX:: Irrigation of wound, left hand. Exchange of 7 mm neural wrap over scored median nerve, left wrist, and secondary closure of wound, left wrist. Application of splint.

The 7 mm neural wrap around the median nerve was exchanged for a fresh one, which was placed around the median nerve to protect it from scarring. The wound was then closed with deep 3-0 nylon retention sutures and 4-0 nylon sutures.
