Small bowel resection with delayed anastamosis

One of my surgeons did a open small bowel resection with no anastamosis.... and 2 days later performed an enterotomy and anastomosis. He planned it that way for bowel resuscitation.... This is a first for me, any advice on proper coding? Thank you
