dressing change

Doctor removed a mole in the back area & put sutures on it. Pt came back due to bleeding of the site. Doc restitch the wound and change the dressing.The pt has nobody to help change the dressing since its at the back, so pt came over to our office every other day and doc changed it and cleaned the wound site. How will I code these visit? Is it considered an E/M code? Pt came in just for dressing. Do I have to use Active Wound Care Mgmt? Please help

If in a global period (ex, 10 day) for Medicare, cannot charge anything. The wound check and dressing change are included in global period.

On the 7th day, pt was scheduled to discuss CT scan result ordered by the doc for a different medical problem. Do you think I should put Mod. 24 since the visit was performed within a postop period?
