What code do I use for Annual Wellness Visit

That depends.

This would really be dependant on the information recieved from the physician. If it was just a generalized physical exam I would use V70.0. If it was an annual well woman exam I would use V72.31 or V76.2 normally. Usually the code is dependant upon the circumstances.

I searched all the CMS literature and no guidance from them on the new Annual Wellness Visit; I am going with V70.0, even though no physical exam is required
