paring of a callus help

When a doctor pares corns/callus' how is that coded? I use 11055 for one and for 2to4 I think I use 11055(single lesion) and 11056(2 to 4). What if the pare eight would you use 11055/11056 and 11057 or just the 11057? I'm confused. Thanks

re: paring of a callus help

You only choose 1 code from this series (11055-11057). If only one pared=11055; if up to 4= 11056; if more than 4=11057. These are not add-on codes and that tells you to code to the number pared (one code).
