Use of modifiers

Can someone advise me as to if I had an office visit that is within the global period of a surgery but is unrelated to the surgery along with a flexible laryngoscopy with this office visit, can I use a modifier -24 to get around the global period and a -25 so I my also bill the laryngoscopy as seperate? or should I bill the office visit with a -24 modifier and the laryngoscopy with a -79 modifier? Any advise would be welcome.

Modifier 24 is correct on E/M unrelated to procedure in global period. Modifier 79 on procedure code.
