IUD device S4989

Does any physicians office out there actually bill for the IUD device? Per our physician our cost for the product is $700.00 and most insurance companies will not re-imburse either the full cost or not cover at all.

Would it be more feasible to have the patient pick up from their pharmacy and then bring into the office for insertion?
