Hysterosalpingogram

We have a patient who had an ectopic pregnancy and we want to do a hysterosalpingogram to see the patency of her tubes, what would the diagnosis code be for this?

There are several codes for Ectopic pregnancy. They are in the O00 category and they require a 4th digit. The code for Ectopic pregnancy, unspecified is O00.9 but you will need to refer to you ICD 10 book for the more specific code. Remember that these codes require the "Z" code for weeks of gestation.
