SNF/NF Visits

Have a debate going on with MD/CRNP in regards to Readmission to a SNF/NF

Can I bill 99304-99306 to Medicare/Medicaid for a NP.
I say no that even though it is a readmission from the hospital it
has to be the done by the MD just like the Initial Admission.

They are telling me that a CRNP can do it and bill for the admission.

The NP may not use the initial nursing facility codes for a readmission.

Thank you, that is what I keep telling them, but they don't want to here it.
And they wonder why I get so mad.
