Can a physician bill the patient for tympanoplasty tubes when the procedure is done in the office?

You can try to bill using 99070 (supply code for tubes) in addition to 69433 (placement of tubes under local anesthesia - usually done in office). However, most payors consider the tubes as a supply as inclusive to the primary surgery code (69433).
