Does Medicare pay for labs for a patient having a physical? I see the code V72.62 "lab exam ordered as part of gen med exam". Would that be a better code to use than V70.0. I know we should have the patient sign a ABN. In case. One of our doctors feels the labs should be covered? Thanks

Some screening tests are covered as you can see. But many labs require a covered indication.
