Would CPT 21110 be appropriate for placement of a Titanium reconstruction plate with screws following segmental mandibulectomy with auricular nerve graft to remove a jaw tumor? What is concerning me is the description of 21110 indicates that an interdental fixation wire is used to hold the jaws together and this plate is being placed to cover the defect created by the mandibulectomy.
