96127 & 99177

Hi ~

I'm not having much luck with insurance paying for 96127 when billed with a preventive visit, as it is usually app to ded. I'd like to get a feel of how it's going for other practices...is your experience any different?

Also, we are using the Vision Spot Checker (99177) instead of Snellen (chart) for most vision screenings and only BS seems to be paying for this code, but not others. Most other insurances are app to ded, IF they allow it at all. Are you having better luck with this one than I am?
