Laceration repair

Doctor performed a repair of a forehead laceration and is reporting it as an intermediate repair. I reading the note it sounds more of a simple repair. Can I get some opinions on it?

Laceration Repair: The wound was anesthetized with topical LET and then a local infiltration of 3 ml of warmed 1% lidocaine. The would was cleansed with normal saline. I re-explored the wound and found no foreign body. There was no deep structure, bone or muscle injury. I then repaired the 2 cm wound with sterile technique using 2 deep sutures of vicryl and running sutures of 6-prolene. This was an intermediate repair.

Thanks,
carmenb
