Why would you bill a venipuncture with a 99213? A venipuncture is billed when you're drawing blood. A 99213 is an office visit code.

the doctor is doing the venipunture the same day as the office visit , is there a different code r something i can do for this not to get denied ?

Bill the proper E/M code 9921_ if pt sees the doc for medical issues and 36415 (venipuncture) on the same day of service if doc did all of these. I don't know why ins will deny any of these services.
