There is no CPT code specific to procedure you describe, it falls under an unlisted code. Percutaneous fixation is neither open or closed.

Here is the lay description: Ask the Dr to verify

The physician reduces the dislocation of an interphalangeal joint of a toe with the use of percutaneous fixation. Separately reportable x-rays are obtained to demonstrate the dislocated joint. Anesthesia is typically employed. The physician inserts metal pins or wires directly through the sterilized skin of the toe and into the affected phalanges. The toe is manipulated with the help of these fixation devices to reduce the dislocation. Separately reportable x-rays are obtained to ensure that the joint is again anatomically correct. The pins or wires may be removed or retained for later removal.
