CPT® code for patellofemoral arthroplasty

I have researched this and everyone has a different answer. Some use unlisted procedure or 27438 Arthroplasty, patella with prosthesis with 27442 Arthroplasty Femoral condyles. Also 27438 with 22 mod to cover Femoral part.

One of my doctors said to use 27446 Uni-knee because patellofemoral is a compartment even tho the CPT® book lists medial or lateral as compartments - I did find some info from BCBS that supports this.

Would appreciate some clarity on this.
