Wound packing and dressing CPT code

My understanding has always been that wound packing and dressing was covered under E/M code if that was the only service performed. MD attended a seminar where he was told there is a code but I cannot locate one. Can you please advise?

Was this a surgical wound, was the patient in a global period, did the patient have procedure in OR?

Sorry, the patient was seen in the ER for a staph infection. He is an established patient at our office and is coming in only to have the wound packed and dressed with no debridement or other service except the visit to check healing progress, as well as the packing. He is not a Medicare patient but does have commercial insurance. Thank you!
