Do you add modifier 25 to 99291 when you code 99291 and 99292 together?

If this is the same specialty, you cannot bill both of these e&m codes on the same DOS. I would NOT recommend this at all.

once you determine if 99291 and 99292 are the codes you need and are appropriate then no.....99292 is an add on code NO modifier is required.

Add on codes do not require a modifier. Since 99292 is an add on code to 99291, you do not append a modifier.
