adenomatous colon polyps

What ICD 9 code do you use. I have been using 235.2.

I would use

dx 211.3, because if you look in the index under polyps for colon it says to use 211.3 and then to also look under polyp, adenomatous. Which then tells you to look under neoplasm, by site, benign, and if you do it says to use 211.3. I hope this helps.
