Sleep Study Early Termination

Patient had anxiety issues 2 hours into sleep study (95810) Is there a modifier for this particular code or do I bill without modifier. Interpreting Doctor says he will be able to get some information from the first 2 hrs.

I bill with a 52 modifier (reduced service) we also reduce the charge. We do a calculation based on the total time the patient was hooked up. First we charge 250.00 right off for the tech time, then we subtract the $250.00 from the total charge and divide the remain by 6.0 (based on 6 hrs of total recording time). Then take that figure and multiply it by the actual time the patient was on recording. That that figure plus the $250.00 and this is the charge we submit to the insurance company. Hope this helps.
