Cancellation of Medicare claim

Could anybody help out.. we have submitted a claim to Medicare with wrong patient by mistake. we'd like to cancel that claim.. what could be the procedure to cancel that claim..

Thanks for the response.. Actually, the claim may not have processed as we submitted it two days back and would like to cancel it before processing..
Should wait till the claim processed and refund payment later?

And, could you send me refund form link of Medicare CA, if possible,please as we are based in San Jose..

Wait until the claim processes and refund withing 30 days upon receipt of payment. As for the voluntary refund form for California, google it and once found save to your favorites.

Once the claim processes, do a voluntary refund with a letter of explanation. You will need to do the same for the (wrong) patient's supplement if Medicare crosses over automatically. You might want to send a copy to the (wrong) patient, so they have record that this was an unintentional error.
