Inpatient Hospital, Nurse Practitioner and Physician Billing
Regarding: Inpatient hospital billing
NP portion of the claim is being denied. NP saw the patient first then the doctor saw patient on same date of service as an inpatient at the hospital..
How can we get both claims paid. Is there a modifier to use? If so, whose claim to I append the modifier to, NP claim or MD claim?
