coding hepatitis diagnosis

How would you code this?

Patient came to office because she thought she had Hepatitis C. This was due to the opinion of another doctor that did a liver biopsy. The biopsy showed nothing conclusive, so the doctor referred here to determine for sure whether or not the patient had Hepatitis C.

Turns out via blood tests, the patient does not have Hep C. She had no other symptoms at the office visit.

Doctor wanted to code 070.9 (Hep C) at the time of office visit. We didn't get the negative labs back until a few days later.

I'm hesitant to use 070.9 since it turns out she didn't have it, but we didn't know that at the time of office visit. Any suggestions?
