cpt code updates

Can someone tell me if the Federal Register has anything to do with updating CPT codes. Thanks!

Why?

Is this a bet? CPT and ICD codes come from the AMA and are not federal regulations so the Federal Register has nothing to do with it.

cpt code updates

I know cpt code updates are available on the AMA and CMS websites, but are they listed in the Federal Register?

CPT and ICD-9

CPT is copyrighted, developed, owned by the AMA, so you have to buy it from the AMA in some form.

ICD-9 is a joint work product of WHO and some other organization I can't remember now, and you do find those updates on the CMS website, and many other places.

I have never seen either in the Federal Register.
