94750 CPT

Hello,

I am trying to find a resource for Pulmonary codes. One of my doctors is inquiring about 94750 at this time. She wants to know if this code is appropriate for inspiratory & expiratory mouth pressure. I have not been able to find a code that indicates mouth pressure within the definition. Is this code appropriate and do you know a good pulmonary resource site ?

Thank you for your time,

Deborah H

Inspiratory and Expiratory mouth pressure

Have your doc check CPT code 94375 -Respiratory flow vollume loop which includes inspiratory and expiratory portion of loop. I don't find any other reference in Pulmonary CPT codes.

Good luck!

I've gotta say

I have never heard of recording mouth pressure in common medical practice. I am sure there is utility but it is certainly not widely done. It also is probably like Peak flow measurements that are considered bundled into the E&M or considered part of a full pulmonary function test.
