I just completed the CPC-H course online with AAPC. Instructors are ALWAYS available for questions which was a lifesaver for this 54 y/o who was a Respiratory Therapist for over 30 years. The tuition package included everything you need, including 3 practice exams. I actually took longer than the 4 months recommended because of working but it was no problem at all. I'm actually glad I went slower as there is a lot of detailed facts to remember. I will sit for my credentialing exam on Nov 8 and really feel confident that I've been taught everything I'll need to pass. I will say that if you do not have any bedside healthcare experience, a Medical Terminology and an Anatomy & Physiology class are necessary. Good luck!
