Per Medicare Benefit Policy Manual, Pub. 100-02, Chapter 6, Section 20.5.2 and 42 CFR 410.27

Is the new CMS G0477 Intensive Behavioral Therapy for Obesity-required to be performed under General, Direct or Personal Supervision by a Physician or Non Physician (PA,ARNP) practioner?

Also could you confirm this is a Theraputic vs a Diagnostic service in Medicares intent?
