Injection Code for Tetanus Vaccine?

We have just started billing for this service, I am getting a denial for the injection code of 96372, is there another code I should be using?

use 90471

There are two codes to bill for immunizations/vaccines:

the administration (for IM 90471 is the first, but there are a series of these codes)

and for the vaccine if you bought the vaccine. If you got it for free, you don't bill that. There is a brief article in the data base called, "immunization administration"
