29822 billed with 29826 no conflict?
For 2012 now that CPT29826 is considered an add-on code for primary CPT29822; does the AAOS allow separate payment for both codes? I investigated there is no CCI edit conflict, so I want to be sure the same holds true with the AAOS?

These codes, CPT® 29822 and 29826 are separately reimbursable no modifier is needed as CPT® 29826 is an add-on code.

CPT® code 29826—“arthroscopic subacromial decompression”—is now an add-on code to CPT® codes 29806–29825, 29827, and 29828. Modifier 51 should not be used and 100 percent reimbursement should be expected.
