Kappa and Lambda ISH stains
Most times the pathologist, when reporting for ISH Kappa and Lambda stains, states the result by a quantitative or semi-quantitative analysis (i.e. ratio or %) and is reported with CPT® codes 88368 & 88369. In this case, the ISH Kappa and Lambda stains are reported in a qualitative result (+/-). Would 88365 & 88364 be the appropriate CPT® codes to use?
