Rep told my Doc today that we should be billing

If results for both Influenza A and Influenza B are ordered by practitioner

For Influenza A use: 87804QW**
For Influenza B use: 87804QW**, -59

I have only been billing one single code.

Is this kosher??

That is the recommendation. (2 units), if results and interpretation on both A and B

Check your test

Our rapid Flu test gives one line if either A or B is positive. So we bill bill only one unit. Be sure your test has two positive lines- one for A and one for B.
