CPT 96101-96125

Revised question: If you bill Medicare part A for these services, do you receive one dollar amount per hour billed, or is it a flat payment? If you bill Medicare part A, and a psychologist bills Medicare part B for the same CPTs on the same date, do both of you get paid? Any guidance is appreciated.

Either I am confused or you are

Part A is for hospital and SNF charges, not medical providers. A medical service provided while the patient is in the hospital is still billed to Part B. The hospital will bill to part A.

Sorry, my question wasn't clear, apparently. Answer: Part A payments may be made to hospitals when part B payments have been made to physicians/psychologists for these testing codes (CPT 96101-96120).
