Complex means requiring devices or techniques not usually used in routine cataract surgery ( suture support for intraocular lens)

So if the documentation says "the wound was observed to be airtight. A single suture of 10-0 nylon was placed in the wound for additional security--would this be considered complex?

Thanks

typically suturing is only considered 'complex' if the sutures are being used to hold the haptics in place
