E & M codes billed twice on the same day, same specialty within a group

I have a group of doctors who are critical care doctors and pulmonologists. They tend to bill 99291 or 99233 on tha same date of service individually. Is that possible? I know that 99291 can probably be billed individually on the same day because critical care can be given anytime but what I question is 99233 because the doctors are of the same specialty and within a group.
